Schedule a phone call or video call with us
This will allow us to discuss the specifics of your situation, understand your condition and needs, and design an accommodation & personal services package that would best fit your specific requirements at a cost that meets your budget.
STEP 2
Confirm your visit
GET OUR PROPOSAL
Once we have talked with you to understand your specific needs and concerns, we will develop and send you a proposal for review that describes the services to be provided and the associated cost.
FOLLOW UP
We will then be available for a follow-up call to discuss any questions or changes that you desire.
YOU APPROVE, THEN WE COORDINATE
Once the list of services to be provided has been agreed upon, we will coordinate and confirm the detailed plan and schedule to support you and your caregiver’s arrival in Houston and your immediate priorities (e.g. airport pickup, accommodation move-in, schedule of hospital activities and appointments, groceries, etc.).
WE CAN BE YOUR REPRESENTATIVE
If you wish, we can be authorized as your representative party which would allow us to confirm hospital appointments and disclose information that may help to improve or change the schedule of activities in Houston.
STEP 3
Arrive to Houston
WELCOME AT THE AIRPORT
We will be waiting for you upon your arrival to Houston’s airport and will take you to your apartment near the Medical Center where you will be staying while in the city.
MAIN NECESSITIES
We can include a welcome package of groceries based on your specific requests (up to $50) so you can arrive to your apartment knowing that your required and preferred foods will be available.
STEP 4
During your stay
CHECK IN AT THE HOSPITAL
We will accompany you to complete the hospital registration and will guide you through the corresponding administrative and legal forms.
YOUR DOCTOR APPOINTMENTS
We will be with you (at least) during your first two days of physician appointments and assist you in locating and completing all of your initial examinations and tests.
WE MAKE IT EASY TO COMMUNICATE
At your request we can serve as medical interpreter during your doctor appointments, in order to help you understand the proposed plan of treatment. This will allow you to raise any questions or concerns you may have and to understand what lies ahead in terms of tests, labs, and scheduled scans and exams.
GET TO KNOW YOUR SURROUNDINGS
We will provide a tour and a printed guide of all the surrounding areas and points of interest that will be helpful during your stay: pharmacies, grocery stores, churches, restaurants, etc. We will also show you the location and how to access the Emergency Room (ER) of your hospital, if needed.
STEP 5
After your treatment
ONCE YOU ARE BACK HOME
We will be available to assist you with any post-treatment activities that you desire, either during your stay in Houston or after you have returned to your home country.
STAY ON TOP OF THINGS
With your permission, this could include matters such as open/pending invoices, billing statements, and obtaining reports or other documentation from the hospital.
